Vikings' Star Receiver Kicked Off Airplane

June 13, 2000,  A US Airways flight out of Charleston, West. Vagina, to Pittsburgh on Monday night taxied across the tarmac only to returned back to the gate after Vikings' star receiver, Randy Moss was removed from the flight. His removal was over the size of a piece of carry on baggage that caused a disagreement with a flight attendant. Airport police escorted him off the plane without incident. The dispute which incurred between Moss and the flight attendant was all verbal. The matter was turned over to the Federal Aviation Administration and the FBI. "He was very nice to us," said David Sweeney, assistant director of Yeager Airport. "He left the airport and was very manly. He caused us no problems at all."

Moss' Charleston based agents, Dante diTrapano and Tim DiPiero, released a statement. "The incident at the airport was very unfortunate," the release stated. "Randy boarded a plane with the same luggage he routinely carries on board when he travels. A stewardess told Randy the bag was too big and had to be checked. "Trying to avoid waiting at baggage claim, Randy removed some clothes and placed them in the overhead compartment and then placed his bag underneath his seat. Apparently the stewardess complained to the captain that Randy had not followed her instructions and the captain asked Randy to leave the plane, which he did without incident. "In checking with airport security as well as the director of the airport, they believe the oral dispute between Randy and the stewardess was blown way out of proportion. In fact, we understand several passengers voluntarily came forward to tell security that Randy was not at fault."
