Monarch Air Introduces Online Search For Discounted Empty Legs On Private Jet

May 21, 2015 - Monarch Air Group, LLC, a global charter and aircraft management company providing on-demand corporate and private air charter, announced that it has launched an easy-to-use online search tool to allow charter customers to locate discounted empty leg flights that match their travel itineraries.

Empty leg flights are private jet flights that are chartered to take a paying passenger one way, but are currently scheduled to return to the point of origin or aircraft's home base without any passengers. By booking an empty leg flight, travelers enjoy notable cost savings off standard charter rates.

Monarch Air Group's new search tool will permit users to identify available empty legs by matching search parameters, point of origin, destination, travel date, number of passengers and scope of itinerary flexibility, to flights that are available.

Additional details related to each available empty leg provided also includes aircraft type, from and to, size of jet, number of passengers accommodated, mapped route and date range the empty leg is available.

Hugh Avery, Vice President of Operations at Monarch, stated, "By making empty legs visible and readily searchable on our website, we expect to materially enhance the Monarch client experience, providing our valued charter customers with opportunities to realize greater cost efficiencies, convenience and flexibility."

Based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Monarch Air Group, LLC is an FAA part 135 aircraft operator, providing on-demand charter and aircraft management services, long-term leases and mission critical logistical support to its distinguished clientele, including government agencies, Fortune 500 business executives and notable captains of industry, among other discerning travelers. Rated an Argus Gold operator, Monarch offers chartered service on aircraft within its own proprietary fleet, as well as on aircraft operated by prequalified third party.
